Most under-sink reverse osmosis installations take two to three hours. That includes mounting the system, running the line to a dedicated filtered-water tap, connecting to the cold supply, pressure testing, flushing the membrane and walking you through it.

Whole-house systems fitted at the mains take longer and depend on where your mains and existing pipework sit. We assess that before quoting.

Yes — installation is included in the advertised system price. The $299 3-stage and the $649 6-stage reverse osmosis are both installed prices, including GST, fittings and the filtered-water tap on the 6-stage.

There is no call-out fee and no after-hours premium. If a job needs something genuinely unusual, you hear the number before we start work — never on the invoice.

No. We supply and install the system ourselves, connected to your cold water supply with a dedicated filtered tap. You do not need to organise a separate trade.

Reverse osmosis does remove minerals along with the contaminants — that is how the membrane works. It is also why every 6-stage system we install includes a remineraliser stage that puts calcium and magnesium back in afterwards.

That is the difference between water that tastes flat and water that tastes clean. If you want it alkaline as well, the Alkafuse system uses a magnesium-enriched remineraliser to reach pH 9 or pH 10.

Our reverse osmosis systems remove PFOS and PFAS, along with up to 99% of dissolved solids, heavy metals like lead and arsenic, chlorine, chloramine and bacteria. The tankless ED600 filters to 0.0001 microns and removes up to 99.99% of more than 1,000 contaminants.

A 3-stage carbon system removes chlorine, sediment and VOCs but will not remove PFAS or dissolved solids — for that you need reverse osmosis.

Sediment and carbon cartridges are typically annual. A reverse osmosis membrane lasts several years and gets tested rather than replaced on a schedule — we only change it when it has actually dropped off.

Servicing is $199 for an under-sink system and $250 for a whole-house system, with no call-out fee. That is the price, not a starting price.

Under-sink reverse osmosis runs to its own dedicated tap and does not touch the pressure at the rest of your taps. Systems with a pressure tank deliver a steady flow at the filtered tap; the tankless ED600 delivers on demand with no tank at all.

Whole-house systems are sized to your property so household pressure stays where it should. We check flow rate as part of every install.

The tankless reverse osmosis system carries a 5 year warranty. Taps and the IC8 chiller carry 3 year warranties covering parts and labour.

Our reverse osmosis systems are Ecosoft, built in Belgium, using components sourced from the USA and Italy. They are not budget hardware — the price is low because we install them ourselves and do not carry a sales team.
